VOLO GROUP (now Dumont PARTS) was founded in June 2007, with the disassembly and part sales of one Gulfstream II. Volo Direct continued to grow and expand by diversifying into regional and corporate aircraft. Dumont Aviation was founded in January 2013. However, its predecessor companies Elcorta and MX Jet Services have a history at the New Castle Airport in Delaware (KILG) going back to 1974. Dumont Aviation grew rapidly focusing on Sales, Charter, Management, Maintenance, and Refurbishment. In 2017 Dumont Aviation rebranded as Dumont Group and segmented the company into two subdivisions: Dumont JETS (focused on Charter, Sales, Management) and Dumont MRO (focused on Maintenance, Paint, Interior Refurbishment). Dumont Group and Volo Direct continued to grow rapidly by offering moderately priced products and services backed by expertise and strong customer service. In June 2019 Dumont Group became Dumont Aviation Group. Volo Direct became Dumont PARTS, becoming the third subdivision of Dumont Aviation Group and solidifying its partnership with Dumont Aviation Group. As one unified company Dumont Aviation Group now serves customers worldwide from locations across the country. Dumont Aviation Group continues to find ways to grow and offer the best suite of aviation products and services.
